Montgomery Parks is hiring a Plumber II within the Facilities Management Division’s Utilities section. This six person team maintains and repairs park infrastructure that supports safe, accessible spaces across the park system. The position is based at the Green Farm Maintenance Facility in Gaithersburg, Maryland, with work performed at parks and facilities throughout Montgomery Parks.
About The Facilities Management Division
The Plumber II will be part of the Facilities Management Division. This Division of 109 staff provides for the care and maintenance of the Department’s physical assets including facilities, pavement, fleet, and major building systems. With a budget over $13 million dollars, the division is responsible for facility condition assessments, major and minor maintenance programs, and serves as the primary support to the Department’s Capital Improvement Projects (CIP).
