Job Summary
Provides direct and indirect instruction to students with disabilities and consults with other personnel in planning, delivery, and evaluation of special education services provided in the least restrictive environment. May serve as a member of the school Individualized Education Program (IEP). The area of concentration will be for those students receiving services in their natural environments. The position may be 10 or 12 months depending on assignment.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
• Provides direct instruction to students with disabilities.
• Provides guidance and direction to technicians supporting the instruction of students with disabilities.
• Develops lesson plans, instructional materials, provides student data and progress reports.
