ABOUT THE POSITION
Clark County Department of Social Services is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Social Work Specialist position. As a member of the Adult Care Services team, you will provide casework services independently to individuals in remote locations and handle complex cases and/or referrals from other agencies or services (often in crisis situations). This position will also coordinate and participate in community outreach events to inform the public of the services available through the Clark County Department of Social Services and to maintain a knowledge base of services/resources available in the community. The ideal candidate will assist community members through the long term care continuum of receiving supportive services in their own home up to and through the process of out of home placement if needed.
